Navigating the promotions page on FunRize Casino could be better - the conversion paths for new users and existing users are mixed on the page. It’s unclear what promos are for whom.

Given how well stratified the games page is, FunRize could enhance the user experience on its site by adding that level of dimension to the promotions page, so new users and existing users have more clarity around which promotions are targeted to them.

Given the lack of table games, any addition of table games would be considered a win for its users. Hopefully, Funrize will consider adding these soon.

Funrize does not have a dedicated mobile app, but it is designed for mobile browsing. Funrize users can play from any device. 

From testing the Funrize site across multiple platforms, there is no loss of speed or functionality across devices. Buttons are easy to press, animations load smoothly, and there’s little chance for fudge fingers when scrolling through the game selection. Funrize users are blessed to have a platform that’s so versatile across multiple platforms. 

Payments and redemptions

Funrize’s payment options are limited - when you go to buy coin packages on the site, your options are credit cards or PayPal. Seeing an expansion in payment options would be a sign that Funrize is thinking about its users.

When redeeming virtual coins, ensure that their account verification has been completed before making a withdrawal. Delaying on account verification will add more steps to the redemption process, leading to frustration and extended delays, which no one wants when they want their winnings. 

Support, legal and responsible gaming

For support options at FunRize, the operator is limited to a chatbot and an email support address for options when users have problems. Response times to email are usually manageable - users report getting responses back within 24 hours regularly. 

The chatbot can answer most basic questions, but if you want to get to a human, you can ask the chatbot;  the wait time for a live human is longer. This is a frustrating experience, especially if you’re contacting support in a time of strife.

Besides offering a wider range of games (it’s easy to get tired of slots), dropping the required coin purchase for making a redemption should be dropped as well. That has “a surprise last-minute bugaboo that could frustrate users” written all over it.

Overall, I give Funrize Casino a 4.1 out of 5. Between the site’s fun design motif, a user-friendly site architecture that is incredibly versatile, and a great selection of 1,639 slot games, this is a sweepstakes casino with an excellent baseline of the sweepstakes casino experience. The Funrize VIP program is great and offers frequent challenges and promotions that will keep users coming back to the site. 

On the downside

The limited game selection is a bother, and the limited payment and withdrawal options are frustrating. Funrize would be better if there were more customer service options, and the withdrawal options were expanded to include speedier options. It’s frustrating that you MUST make a coin purchase to execute a redemption.  Improving some of these factors would go a long way towards improving the site’s reputation and growing the user base. 

• Funrize vs. WOW Vegas: WOW Vegas is also very slot-focused, but boasts a bigger slot library, a bigger welcome offer, and overall has a broader reputation throughout the sweepstakes world than Funrize.
