Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Pacific Tide Media, which operates Sweepsy (sweepsy.com). By using Sweepsy you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are and what we are not
Sweepsy is a comparison, information and tracking service about sweepstakes-style social casinos and related promotions. We are not a casino. We do not operate any casino or sweepstakes, do not accept wagers, do not offer real-money gambling, and never handle coins, prizes or redemptions. Every offer we describe is made by a third-party operator under that operator’s own terms and eligibility rules, which can change without notice.
Who can use Sweepsy
You must be 21 or older to use Sweepsy or create an account, and it is your responsibility to make sure sweepstakes content and any casino you visit are lawful for you where you are. Void where prohibited.
Accounts and security
An account is optional. It stores the casinos you mark as playing, shortlisted or passed, the daily bonuses you claim, your payout journal (dates only), the ratings and reports you submit, the alerts you ask for, and your activity in member features such as the scout league, referrals and member games. Give us accurate information, keep your sign-in details private, and tell us straight away about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time, wherever you live, from My Sweepsy → Settings → Delete your account and data; the Privacy Policy lists what that removes.
Bonus tracker and alerts
The tracker and alerts are provided for convenience. They do not guarantee that an offer exists, that you are eligible, when it is available or how much it is worth; operators change offers at any time and we do not control their data. We are not responsible for missed claims, broken streaks, late or failed alerts, or differences between what we show and what an operator gives you. Features may launch in beta and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Player reports and your content
Reports you submit — new casinos, promotions, offer changes, payout times, state availability — and ratings are reviewed by our editors before anything is published. We publish aggregates with their sample size, never individual negative ratings, and never anything that identifies you. By submitting content you confirm it is truthful and yours to share, and you give us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit and publish it in aggregate or anonymized form. When you delete your account we delete your reports and ratings with it; totals we have already published may still reflect them without identifying you.
Bingo and other tools
Tools such as the bingo board creator are free, for personal and social use, and offered as is. Boards, player names and marks you enter are visible to anyone who has the game link, and games are deleted after 30 days. Do not enter anything unlawful, hateful, private or that you do not have the right to share. Our tools are not for wagering: do not use them to run real-money games, lotteries or contests that need a license where you are.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Sweepsy for anything unlawful or to infringe anyone’s rights;
- try to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to use;
- copy, scrape or harvest content or data, except through features we document for that purpose;
- overload, disrupt or bypass the rate limits and security of the service, or reverse-engineer it;
- submit false reports or ratings, or use more than one account to influence player signals;
- abuse referrals, member games or leagues, or impersonate anyone.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
Our content
Sweepsy and its content — text, reviews, graphics, logos, data and software — belong to Pacific Tide Media or our licensors and are protected by law. You have a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Operator names and logos belong to their owners and are used to identify them. If you send us feedback, we may use it without restriction or payment.
Compensation and third-party sites
Sweepsy earns compensation from some operators listed on this site, including when readers click through or sign up. This compensation may influence which operators appear on the site and the order and placement in which they appear. The Verified badge indicates an active commercial partnership between Sweepsy and that operator. Compensation does not change the price you pay. Third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them, and any dealings you have with an operator are between you and that operator.
Which casinos we link to depends on your state. Where a casino is not available, or not promoted, in your state, we show our review or “Not available” instead of a link to it, and our redirect may send a casino link to our review instead. Always confirm a casino is available where you live before you sign up.
Disclaimers
Sweepsy is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete or secure. Offers, availability, payout times and ratings are collected from operators and players and change often. Information on Sweepsy is general information only and is not legal, financial or gambling advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pacific Tide Media, Sweepsy and their owners, directors, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (normally $0, since Sweepsy is free). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in that case they apply to the extent permitted.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Pacific Tide Media, Sweepsy and their affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service, content you submit, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the law or the rights of a third party.
Communications and privacy
We send account and security messages, and the alerts and updates you ask for. You can unsubscribe from alerts and marketing at any time. How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes and termination
We may change the service or these terms at any time. When a change is material we will update the date at the top and, where the law requires, notify you; continuing to use Sweepsy after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Sweepsy or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts or access for violations of these terms, or if we discontinue the service.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration before JAMS (or another provider we both agree to) in San Diego County, California, by a single arbitrator. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property or data-security matters. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
Everything else
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Sweepsy. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
Play responsibly
