Funzpoints is a Canadian-based sweepstakes casino that uses a two-tiered currency system that gives its users the opportunity to win prizes for playing the casino games it offers. What’s different about this site? All of the games on the site are in-house productions made by Woopla Inc, the owner of Funzpoints.
This review will cover the full-scale Funzpoints user experience, highlighting the unique games of Woopla and the promotional opportunities available for Funzpoints users.
The Funzpoints no-deposit bonus is 1,000 Standard Funzpoints + 250 Premium Funzpoints for creating an account. As mentioned in other areas of this review, most of the site is kept behind a paywall that requires you to purchase coins to access much of the site’s game catalog.
Coin packages & best value
★Rates are essentially flat across the ladder — every package converts at roughly 1.00 SC per $1, so pick the size that fits your budget.
| Package | Price | SC per $1 |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 SF + 500 PFBest value | $4.99 | 1.0 |
| 2,000 SF + 1,000 PF | $9.99 | 1.0 |
| 4,000 SF + 2,000 PF | $19.99 | 1.0 |
| 10,000 SF + 5,000 PF | $49.99 | 1.0 |
| 20,000 SF + 10,000 PF | $99.99 | 1.0 |
Standard Funzpoints (SF) are play-for-fun only and carry no cash value — only Premium Funzpoints (PF) can be redeemed. 100 PF = 1 Sweeps Coin (SC); the SC per $1 column uses that conversion.
Funzpoints uses Standard Funzpoints for free play and Premium Funzpoints for redeemable play. The table above uses GC for Standard Funzpoints and SC for Premium Funzpoints. The conversion rate at Funzpoints is 100:1, so every 100 Premium Funzpoints is the same as 1 SC.
First purchase bonus: $5 for 500 Premium Funzpoints

Funzpoints does not have a weekly promotional tab like some of the other social casinos out there, so it’s hard to know what’s new and exciting. With the limited game library and limited promotions, this is another opportunity for Funzpoints to evolve as a social sweepstakes casino operator.
Ongoing promotions for existing players
The most consistent ongoing promotion for Funzpoints is the nightly drawing for free sweeps. Every night, 100 winners are selected to receive free Funzpoints. Other than that, the limited number of promotions is an area where the operator could improve significantly.
Daily SC bonus: Tickets for the daily drawing
Playthrough requirement: 1x

Is the Funzpoints offer worth it?
Overall, Funzpoints is a social casino in desperate need of a refresh. As the landscape for social casinos continues to grow, Funzpoints will need to make some changes in order to remain competitive.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Fast, responsive customer support.
- Great daily bonus with nice upside.
- No platform limitations to play on Funzpoints.
Cons
- Limited deposit methods.
- No live dealer or table games; generally limited game selection.
- RTP information for in-house games is not easily available
- Overall, too much gatekeeping.
Score breakdown
The signup bonus lets you try the site, but much of the game catalog sits behind a purchase paywall. The nightly drawing is the most consistent ongoing promotion.
Premium Funzpoints redemptions require a Social Security Number as part of verification. Banking options are limited, and redemption times vary by method.
The games are made in-house by Woopla. Most of the library is locked behind a purchase paywall, and there are no live dealer games.
Email support is fairly responsive. Responsible gaming information and helpful resources are available, but the page could be more prominent in navigation.

Read review
When compared to bigger operators like McLuck and LuckyLand, the bonuses are structured similarly in that you get some of both virtual currencies to play with. The difference between Funzpoints and the bigger operators is how far the bonus gets you. McLuck and LuckyLand have a much bigger selection of games and more frequent promotions that will generally stretch your virtual currencies further than they will at Funzpoints.
At a glance
Redemption: how it works and how long it takes
How to redeem
- Verify your identity (KYC) — sweepstakes casinos are required by law to confirm you’re a real, eligible adult before paying out.
- Build up at least $20 in Sweeps Coins.
- Submit a redemption request from your account.
- Wait for review and payment — the operator advertises 1-3 days.
Payout Watch
No player-reported payout times yet. We publish the median once a casino has 25 or more player reports — never an estimate before then.
Users who want to redeem Premium Funzpoints will have to provide their Social Security Number as part of the verification process. There is a $20 minimum redemption threshold. Redemption methods vary from 30 minutes to 3 days. One nice feature: Funzpoints offers two redemption methods that complete transfers within 30 minutes. Instant debit transfers money directly to your debit card, and RTP transfers your redemption directly to your bank account in under 30 minutes.
Games
132 games across Slots, Jackpots.
No live dealer tables are currently offered.
Funzpoints is unique in that it only offers users access to games that are manufactured by the owner of the site. This limits the competitive advantage the site can have against other sweepstakes sites such as McLuck or High 5.
There are 132 titles in total available for Funzpoints users, but most of them are locked behind the “purchase” paywall. If you choose not to deposit, you can really only play up to six games. The ones that are unlocked are all smaller jackpots without much payoff. Users have a choice of playing slot games or Keno.
If you really want to take advantage of the full Funzpoints game library, you should make a purchase.
Social live casino
FunzPoints does not offer any live dealer games, so there is another growth opportunity for the operator there. Given how closely they gatekeep most of their library, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did have live dealer games, they would add a whole host of qualifiers in order for users to access them.
FunzPoints’ limited game selection puts them on a rung of the ladder that’s barely above ground. Overhauling the offerings here would go a long way towards making this operator more competitive against the other social casinos.

Payments
FunzPoints users will have a limited selection of options to choose from for making deposits. While making a purchase isn’t an absolute must to play at Funzpoints, users who want the full user experience should consider making a purchase, so they have access to all of the features of the FunzPoints site.

How we tested
Sweepsy tracks 327 casinos across 12,099 data points, with 68+ hours of hands-on testing behind our reviews. Every tracked casino is re-checked at least every 90 days.
- Open a real account at every casino we review hands-on, using our own name and ID.
- Buy the smallest available coin package with our own money to confirm the checkout price and coin amount match what's advertised.
- Play through a sample of the game library to confirm the published game count and categories hold up.
- Request an actual cash redemption and record exactly how many days it takes to land.
- Re-check every tracked casino's offer, packages, restricted-state list and redemption terms at least every 90 days, sooner if a player-submitted report flags a change.
- Route every player-submitted correction to an editor for approval before it changes anything on the site.

Funzpoints review: Overall, too much gatekeeping.
VIP program: Funzpoints VIP
FunzPoints’ VIP program is activated when users purchase at least $4.99. That unlocks premium mode, which includes more available options to players than the standard option that doesn’t require a purchase.
At the standard level, you can play a select number of games using Gold Coins, collect tickets for the Jackpot, and spin the Funzwheel every 3 hours to win more Funzpoints or tickets to be used in the Jackpot.
Premium, which opens up after a purchase, allows you to redeem Premium Funzpoints, have no limitations on what you can access in the game library, and offers more frequent bonus options and promotions.
Mobile app and experience
If you’re a person looking for a social casino app that doesn’t matter what platform you play on, you’re in luck! FunzPoints works on any device you have to play on. Desktop? No problem. iOS and Android? You bet. FunzPoints was built to work across all browsers and platforms.
From a usability perspective, the speed of the app doesn’t suffer too much between mobile and desktop. Games loaded and buttons were easy to press on mobile. The biggest frustration between mobile and desktop is that the pop-ups that hit the screen are much more distracting and difficult to deal with in the smaller screen space.
Support, legal and responsible gaming
Funzpoints users primarily use email to contact Funzpoints support when they have issues. Email support is fairly responsive. The FAQ says that response times are generally under 2 hours, depending on the request.
The responsible gaming page is linked to in the footer, but could be made more prominent. The page does a good job of offering evergreen information on responsible gaming habits, how to identify problematic gambling habits, and links to helpful websites with resources you can connect with.
Available options:
- Email: support@funzpoints.com
- Social media: Facebook (@Funzpoints), X (@funzpointss)
The support and responsible gaming options are minimally sufficient here and could be made more prominent in navigation. This is another sign of Funzpoints’ desire to go too far towards gatekeeping users from their product.

Final verdict: Is Funzpoints worth playing?
Final verdict for Funzpoints: 2.8 out of 5
Some of its limitations include gatekeeping most of its game library, limited promotions, and an overly cartoon-ish theme that doesn’t say serious gaming. There are few redeeming qualities, other than the daily drawing where you can get free Funzpoints.
Comparing sites like Funzpoints to bigger sites like McLuck and Stake is really comparing apples and oranges. They’re in totally different categories. If it wants to change its perspective, Funzpoints will have to start offering more games, including live dealer games, and create more timely promotions. It also needs to entice users more and not hide everything behind gatekeeping. A lot of the fun of social casinos is that it’s an opportunity to play for fun, and Funzpoints’ gatekeeping discourages new users from inquiring more.
