You’ll have a 0.0001% chance of winning a new Switch or PlayStation 5. There’s an infinitesimal (but slightly better) chance you’ll get PS5 controllers, charging plugs, or a keyboard, but you’re far more likely to receive three vouchers worth $0.10 to $5.00 each.

You won’t need to enter a promo code to claim a boost on your first deposit. The bonus is applied automatically. Click the plus sign next to your balance, enter the amount you want to deposit, click “Deposit,” and pay with your debit card, Apple Pay, GPay or cryptocurrency to claim this reward.

You have to deposit at least 10 to get a bonus, and you’ll need to deposit a total of $20 before you request a prize withdrawal. Even though all deposits are subject to a 2% processing fee, BigBux’s first deposit bonus is better than the 5% boost I’ve seen at Royale.gg and HypeDrop.

You don’t need to enter a BigBux promo code to claim the free sign-up bonus or the first-deposit offer. I was able to create a new account in just 30 seconds by connecting my Google credentials, but starting from scratch is just as simple.

Enter your email address, create a new password, and check the box to agree to BigBux’ Terms and Conditions. The form also shows an optional “Promo Code” box with the prompt “Enter referral code (if any).” Leave it blank unless you have a BigBux referral code, then click “Sign Up” to proceed.

No promo code is required. Click “Claim Now” in the welcome pop-up to open your free mystery boxes. Click “Open Now” underneath each box to reveal your free items. You can view, exchange, or withdraw your items by opening “Cart.” Just keep in mind that you will need to deposit at least $20 before requesting a cash or crypto payout for the first time.

Yes, the BigBux no deposit bonus is worth claiming. When I signed up, I claimed a series of vouchers worth $2.51, which gave me a little head start on my first purchase. Royale.gg and Mr. Loot also deliver free mystery boxes when you create a new account, but the free boxes at BigBux promise more potential value because each one might contain a new PS5. At Royale.gg, the best item you could earn for free was a $60 Supreme-branded water gun.

Whenever you win items from Mystery Boxes or Deals, you can request to have them shipped to your house, exchange them for other items on the site, or cash them out. Shipping can take up to 60 days. Cash and crypto withdrawals took 24 hours or less in testing.

Before you can request a prize withdrawal, you’ll need to deposit at least $20 in total. This minimum doesn’t apply if you just want to have your item shipped. BigBux reserves the right to ask for proof of age or identity. You can submit a photocopy of your ID and any additional requested documents by clicking your avatar, “Profile,” and “Documents” on the following page. I was prompted to verify my ID with Persona before I requested a cash withdrawal.

BigBux offers standard mystery boxes that may contain tech accessories, luxury items, watches, cars, gaming items, motorcycle accessories, budget items, and vouchers that you can use for additional purchases on the site.

The cheapest box here was $0.25, and it could deliver a voucher worth up to $500. If you want to take your chances at winning a Porsche, the “Crying on My Porsche” mystery box contains only two items: a box of Kleenex or a Porsche 911 Targa 4s. The listed probability of pocketing the car was 0.001%, and the box cost $100.

I personally had better luck exploring the “Deals” section, where you can win items directly. You choose the item and set your probability of winning between 0.01% and 80%. If the ticker lands in the highlighted portion, you win the item. I took a swing at a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and, unbelievably, I won an item listed at $329 after spending $3.95. I then bought a lottery ticket to celebrate my luck, but that didn’t go as planned.

The most daring buyers on the site can try their luck at owning a supercar, but even taking a 50/50 stab at a Porsche or Lamborghini will set you back $300,000. Still, I like that BigBux has plenty of everyday items, jewelry, and tech accessories for those of us with lower aspirations.

BigBux offers mystery boxes and direct-item deals rather than conventional casino slots. Before buying, compare the displayed odds and item values with the purchase price, and check the terms for shipping, returns and prize delivery.

In addition to hosting mystery boxes that contain random items, you can spin the wheel and pay less than retail value for a chance of winning luxury items directly.

From gift cards and electronic accessories to Ferraris and Porsches, there’s no telling what you might bring home. Lastly, traditional PvP or PvBot battles tie your shopping experience together.

I’m diving into Big Bux’s best features, highlighting the differences between mystery boxes and deals, showing you how to make purchases, and giving you my unfiltered opinion in this BigBux review. Let’s get started.

BigBux login bonus and promos for existing players

Big Bux is a traditional mystery box site and doesn’t offer daily login rewards for new players. There’s no way to get free items outside the no deposit offer, so you’ll have to spend a little money to use the site.

You can participate in battles to win more items after you’ve bought some boxes or refer friends to earn a commission on their deposits. I’m explaining more here:

• Battles: Take part in daily battles at BigBux and face off against other players. Like Royale.gg, BigBux also lets you create your own battles or compete against a robot. When “Crazy” mode is enabled, the player or bot who pulls the lowest total item value wins the match. “Terminal” mode gives the battle to whichever player pulls the highest single-value item. If both modes are activated, the player with the least expensive single item wins the match. Normal battles come with five rounds, while “Crazy” battles have seven. During each round, the wheel spins until it lands on a box. The contents of that box are displayed in your column under your username. At the end of each battle, total item values are calculated, and the winner or loser is determined based on the ruleset.
• Refer-a-friend: The referral bonus at BigBux offers a 5% commission on your friends’ deposits, but you must complete a form explaining why you deserve an opportunity to invite other players. This feels tacky to me, but I went ahead and did it anyway. I got a reply 24 hours later, after which point I could refer friends to the platform. There’s no limit on how many friends you can invite, so this bonus could be lucrative if you know lots of people who plan to stick around.

BigBux VIP Club: loyalty benefits are not clearly specified

BigBux does have a loyalty program of sorts, but the benefits aren’t clearly outlined. At most, you can expect free boxes and exclusive deals based on your current level. The FAQ says they’re working to improve the VIP program, so only time will tell what happens.

In the meantime, you’ll get 400 XP for every dollar you lose while purchasing boxes and taking part in battles against other players or bots. For example, if you buy a $10 Mystery Box and get an item worth $5, you’d receive 2,000 XP. It’s not possible to gain XP if you’re winning overall.

You’ll need to reach 40,000 XP before reaching Level 1, but no additional point benchmarks are listed, and you can’t actually see how many levels there are.

BigBux’s loyalty program has potential, but it’s outclassed by the existing benefits available at Royale.gg and Mr. Loot. This is largely because the benefits at BigBux aren’t specified beyond free boxes and exclusive deals, whereas Royale.gg promises concrete cashback percentages. Mr. Loot’s VIP program takes the cake as far as transparency is concerned, because you know exactly what you have to spend to progress to each level. You’ll claim level-up rewards, weekly bonuses, monthly bonuses, and spins on the Wheel at higher VIP tiers. By comparison, until BigBux fleshes out its loyalty program to represent something tangible, it’s clear that competing sites promise more value for your money.

BigBux bonus terms and conditions

Always read the BigBux Terms of Use for full details. These conditions affected my experience:

• You must be 18+ years old or the age of majority in your state to register with BigBux. California, New York and Washington residents may not be eligible for certain services.
• When you sign up, you can open free mystery boxes that may include gaming accessories or vouchers.
• No promo code is required to claim the initial deposit offer. Sales tax and a deposit processing fee factor into what you pay.
• You’ll need to fill out a form before you can claim referral bonuses. A team member will get back to you to approve or deny your request. If approved, you’ll get 5% of each deposit your friends make after they sign up with your code. Notably, you can’t participate in affiliate bonuses at other mystery box sites if you refer friends here.
• The odds of getting each item within a specific mystery box are listed when you click the box. You can also try out boxes for free to see what you might get, which I think is a cool feature.
• You can only request a refund if you receive a faulty or damaged item. If you have an unspent cash balance you’d like to withdraw, email support@bigbux.io for assistance.
• Items are sent out within 3 business days, and you’ll get a tracking number once they leave. Most shipments take between two days and a month to reach you, depending on where you live. However, physical shipments can take up to 60 days in some cases.
• You’ll only earn XP Points to boost your VIP level when you lose money on a mystery box or battle. Every dollar you lose results in 400 XP. However, if you win at least as much as you spent, you won’t get any XP.
• Before you can request a prize withdrawal, you’ll need to deposit at least $20 in total. This minimum doesn’t apply if you just want to have your item shipped.
• You’re only permitted to register one account, and players who break this rule will have both accounts suspended. Requesting a chargeback will also result in the loss of your account and accrued items or money.
• If your account is closed at BigBux’s sole discretion and you have not violated the Terms and Conditions, you’ll have 30 days to transfer your remaining funds before they expire.
• BigBux reserves the right to ask for proof of age or identity. I was prompted to verify my ID with Persona before I requested a cash withdrawal.

Banking: purchases and prize delivery

You can use your debit or credit card, Apple Pay, GPay, compatible cryptocurrency wallets, or manual crypto transfers via USDT, USDC, and ETH to fund your BigBux account. All deposits had a 2% processing fee during testing, and if you deposit or withdraw through crypto, network fees also apply.

Whenever you win items from Mystery Boxes or Deals, you can request to have them shipped to your house, exchange them for other items on the site, or cash them out. Shipping can take up to 60 days, but cash and crypto withdrawals took 24 hours or less in testing.

Mobile app and experience

Even though BigBux doesn’t have a proper app, the web app is an effective substitute. I couldn’t find a way to remove the circular arrows at the bottom-right corner of the page, which is my only complaint about the UI.

A bottom-row menu would also be nice, but you can access the most important site functions (boxes, battles, promotions, et cetera) through the main menu just like you would on desktop. I loved being able to switch between dark and light modes by tapping the moon icon next to my balance, and the “Live Wins” banner at the top of the page provides transparency. You can watch players get everything from expensive electronics to streetwear and jewelry in real-time.

How does BigBux compare?

BigBux stands out for its direct-item deals alongside mystery boxes and winner-takes-all battles. Royale.gg offers crypto cashouts and a diverse selection of payment methods, while HypeDrop also offers direct-item deals. None of the three had a dedicated mobile app in the original comparison. BigBux lacked live support, while Royale.gg and HypeDrop offered it. Compare current purchase minimums, delivery times and ratings before deciding which site suits you.

How to contact customer support

BigBux offers email and ticket support, but there’s no live chat or phone assistance available. I was able to speak to a real person immediately at both Mr. Loot and Royale.gg, so BigBux falls behind the curve in this area. Below, I’ll discuss what you can expect when trying to get in touch:

• Email: Send an email to support@bigbux.io and include your username in the message to save time. I got responses in 36 to 48 hours, on average. The team was helpful when I asked about specific terms and conditions, withdrawal requirements, and how battles actually work.
• Ticket: Scroll down to the website footer and click “Contact Us” to open the ticket form. After entering your name, email address, phone number, and message, click “Submit” and wait for a response. I noticed replies took closer to 24 hours using this method.
• FAQ: BigBux’ FAQ contains some grammatical errors and misspellings, but it’s generally helpful if you want to learn more about the site’s refund policy, shipping times, XP reward system, and how to make payments without contacting a team member.

Responsible gaming features

Final assessment

BigBux lives up to its namesake with potentially massive boxes at bottom-of-the-barrel prices. Even the free boxes you get for signing up could contain a gaming console, whereas its closest competitor, Royale.gg, reserved its largest no deposit prize for a $60 item when I compared them.

I also like that you can hunt for direct item deals by spinning the Wheel, since I haven’t seen this option on most sites other than HypeDrop. There’s definitely more to do here than you’d expect at first glance, and PvP/PvBot battles add the icing on the cake.

Subpar customer support, unclear VIP benefits, and processing fees are the biggest factors that got in the way of an otherwise positive experience here, which is why I ranked it lower than Royale.gg and HypeDrop.
