McLuck’s Loyalty Club VIP program gets a 4.2 from me. It’s not higher because it requires a lot of play for each level with actual, meaningful benefits. It’s tailored to heavy hitters, and that’s totally fine. However, I’m approaching it from a new or casual player’s perspective, and it leaves a lot to be desired in that realm. Still, the rewards are good if you can achieve the required levels.

Overall, McLuck is a slam dunk of a sweepstakes casino. The game library contains 1,007 titles. Most of those are slots, but a few arcade-style games are offered alongside a collection of live dealer games. The only real misses for McLuck are its lack of single-player table games and the fact that live chat is only available after you make a purchase. Otherwise, we have overwhelmingly positive things to say about McLuck. 

Another highlight at McLuck is the sitewide jackpot system. For a small bit of GC or SC, you can opt in for jackpots while playing on any slot game.

In my experience, the mobile app functions just as well as the mobile app. Games were responsive to my phone’s layout, so I was able play in portrait or landscape orientation without issue. McLuck’s customer support channels vary in availability and quality. Here’s a bird’s-eye view.

• Live Chat: Available after a purchase; requires chatting with an AI bot first. Hard to find/access even after a purchase.

Overall, McLuck’s variety of methods is good. But the roadblocks were hard to overlook during my review. Live chat only became available after I made a purchase, and even then, the live chat icon didn’t always appear on my screen. It only popped up for me when I was in various sub-menus on the site. The AI bot was reasonably helpful (that’s high praise, trust me) in that it responded to a question with actual details and a short, quick answer.  

The help center is largely disappointing, with a few rudimentary responses to common questions I had. 

The presence of the phone number is a big plus, and the sheer breadth of customer service channels is solid at McLuck. 

Responsible gambling features

McLuck does a lot of things right with regard to responsible gambling. The main menu on the site has a “Player Trust & Safety Controls” page. It offers a lot of tools for keeping your play fun and responsible. The options include:

• Spending limits: set a maximum purchase limit within a given time frame. 
• Session limits: Set the amount of time you can spend playing at McLuck each day. 
• Time-out (cool off): Set a designated period of time from 1 to 30 days. You won’t be able to play or purchase at McLuck during this time. Cannot be cancelled. 
• Self-Exclusion: Self-exclude from McLuck for a long stretch of time, from one month up to one year. Cannot be reversed. 

McLuck gets this almost completely right, in my view. You can’t opt out of your chosen cool-off or self-exclusion, which prevents you from setting, then undoing it right away. 

My only nitpick here is that McLuck’s instructions on how to actually use the tools are incorrect. It says to use these tools from the account page, but the tools are only available on the Player Trust & Safety Controls page at the bottom. Scroll down to see them and set limits. 

Final rating: 4.3/5

McLuck gets a final score of 4.3 from me, which is incredibly high. The site lives up to most of its promises. The game library is massive. The payment options are plentiful. The terms are player-friendly.

The only real downsides I experienced were paywall blocking live chat, the lack of single player table games, and a few small navigation bugs. 

Other than those things, McLuck hits every target. The mobile app is especially ideal for me to play on the go, as it allowed full Sweeps Coin play, unlike competitor sites like Pulsz.
