I found the messaging around the welcome bonus/sign-up bonus/no-deposit bonus to be unclear. It should be evident from the “headline” what exactly I’m getting with the sign-up bonus, and how much it is. Greater clarity in High 5’s messaging would go a long way towards making them stand out against other competitors in the sweepstakes casino space.

High 5 has a seven-tier rewards program known as High 5 Prestige. The tiers are as follows: 

New accounts open at the novice tier when they sign up for an account, and their frequency of play determines their tiered status. The more you play, the better chance you have of moving up. Play with Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins counts towards your tier rating. 

Certain perks scale as you ascend tiers. The Daily Bonus, 4-Hour Harvest, Level-Up rewards, and the birthday/anniversary rewards kick in at the Prodigy level.

New users to High 5 Casino can expect a wide range of sweepstakes casino games to choose from. The main focus of High 5 Casino is on slots. With 1900+ slots are available in the High 5 slot library, with more titles being added every day. High 5 does a good job of balancing its offerings between popular titles such as Da Vinci Power Play, and high volatility jackpot slots like Bushido Bounty. 

The user experience at High 5 would improve significantly if it added more category filtering for its slot offerings. Having only pagination as an option makes it harder to find the titles you want to play, and there’s no way to come back to them without making multiple clicks. There’s also no search bar, so I couldn’t seek out a specific title even if I tried. That’s frustrating for the user experience, and something that could be added to improve the High 5 user experience. 

Social live casino

Unfortunately, High 5 Casino does not offer any live dealer games or virtual table games for users to play. The game library’s focus here is on slots. With a bountiful library of slot games, offering 1900+ titles, there’s hope that High 5 will add more live dealer games in the future. If this is a must-have for you, we suggest you check out our live dealer casino page instead of High 5.

While there’s no selection of live dealer and table games at High 5 Casino, I give High 5 a 3.5 out of 5 in the game library category. There is a wide variety of slots, but it is difficult to see the selection through pagination. Making some slight improvements in site navigation and the user experience could go a long way towards making High 5 a more competitive sweepstakes casino.

Mobile app and experience

Players interested in the High 5 mobile experience will be glad to know that High 5 Casino has a mobile casino app for both major smartphone providers. Users of both platforms are satisfied with the app. Both versions of the app have at least four-star ratings in their respective app stores. 

User reviews point out that the navigation and interface are easy to navigate on mobile. There are almost no issues with loading speed, and games rarely glitch or freeze up when playing on mobile. There’s nothing worse than racking up a big score of Gold Coins thinking that it was Sweeps Coins. Ensure that your identity verification is completed before attempting to redeem Sweeps Coins - if your KYC verification is not up to date, you will experience longer wait times for receiving your redemption.

High 5 could definitely improve its game selection to include more than slots. I also found the bonus language to be confusing and should be clarified so users know what they’re getting themselves into more easily.

Final verdict: Is High 5 Casino worth playing?

After a comprehensive review, we give High 5 Casino a 4.2 out of 5 stars. The operator is set up to engage users interested in playing slots and getting regular daily rewards. Their multi-level VIP rewards program is a great benefit for users of all stripes. 

High 5 has a huge slot library of 1900+ slots, so there are all types of slots to play, whether you’re looking for fun Gold Coin play or Sweeps play. 

On the downside, I found the language around the welcome bonus confusing. It’s unclear to me what I get before I purchase coins. It’s unclear whether the welcome offer is dependent on a purchase or not. This kind of confusing messaging can confuse potential new users, who will go somewhere where they know what they’re getting. 

High 5’s strengths and weaknesses are highlighted when you compare them to other sweepstakes casinos. 

• McLuck: High 5’s game selection does not compare to McLuck. Though they have a smaller game library, McLuck has  a greater variety of games, offering live dealer games like blackjack, which High 5 does not have.
• Crown Coins: Crown Coins has a bigger introductory bonus for new customers and a more generous daily bonus than High 5. 
• Sweeps Royal: If you’re looking for game selection, Sweeps Royal has over 3000 games, and works with more gaming manufacturers than High 5 Casino. 

While there’s a lot to be excited about with High 5 Casino, I wouldn’t give it the “High 5” just yet until it clarifies its bonus messaging so users know what they’re getting into when they start to play slots at High 5 Casino.
