ARB Interactive acquires Publishers Clearing House for $7.1M, planning a major digital overhaul that blends PCH’s iconic sweepstakes legacy with mobile-first, consumer-focused gaming.

ARB Interactive announced it has received court approval in the acquisition of Publishers Clearing House (PCH) assets for $7.1 million. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved the deal, setting the stage for ARB to begin revitalizing PCH with a mobile-first strategy based on consumer-first values.

Assuming responsibility for PCH prizes

Publishers Clearing House is a household name, recognized for its life-changing sweepstakes contests and the Prize Patrol, which delivers large, oversized checks to winners across the United States. With the acquisition, ARB Interactive will carry on this tradition of presenting prizes. The company now assumes responsibility for all PCH prize obligations, including those for the 2025 contests.

“We are excited to welcome Publishers Clearing House into the ARB Interactive family,” said Patrick Fechtmeyer, CEO of ARB Interactive. “Our vision is to blend PCH’s storied heritage with cutting-edge, free-to-play mobile gaming experiences that captivate a new generation.”

ARB plans to prioritize fairness, fun, and integrity, upholding the PCH brand as a trusted leader in digital entertainment, while also honoring the American cultural spirit the brand has cultivated within the last seven decades.

Digital transformation

The acquisition will accelerate the transformation of PCH into a digital entertainment company supported by advertising. Modo Casino, one of the more well-known sweepstakes casinos out there and the flagship platform of ARB, will support the transformation. Available via Modo.us, the casino boasts high user engagement and fair-play practices through its extensive collection of social games.

Players will eventually gain access to innovative, free-to-play content via PCH with a modern sweepstakes approach. ARB is focused on delivering a quality experience that celebrates the legacy of PCH while adding the element of digital entertainment.

The Prize Patrol will continue to surprise players across the nation, and millions of loyal fans will be able to explore a refreshed platform focused on consumers, offering fun and rewarding gaming experiences.

A major refresh appears likely

Since its founding, Publishers Clearing House (PCH) has awarded more than $620 million in prizes to players across the United States. In 2025 alone, the brand has distributed over $3.2 million in cash and prize rewards, continuing its legacy as one of the most recognizable sweepstakes operators in the country.

Today, the PCH homepage features a variety of active promotions, including Daily Play, the popular SuperPrize, and Weekly Grand Prize events. Players can also participate in standard sweepstakes drawings that require no purchase to enter.

Under the Games tab, users will find a range of casual offerings, such as Mahjongg, Solitaire, and Minute Mania. The Quick Play section includes instant win games, digital scratch cards, lotto-style draws, and a limited selection of slots. While these games are accessible and easy to play, they reflect a platform that, until now, has remained largely unchanged in terms of user experience and game design.

With ARB Interactive’s recent acquisition, a major refresh appears likely. While it remains unclear whether ARB will retain the current game structure or transition to a more casino-style format similar to its flagship platform Modo.us, industry observers expect significant upgrades in both presentation and gameplay.

PCH has long held a strong emotional connection with American consumers, but its platform lags behind modern digital gaming experiences. ARB brings the technical capability and mobile-first approach needed to reintroduce PCH to a new generation, while maintaining the integrity and trust the brand has built over seven decades.

Whether through enhanced sweepstakes, gamified reward systems, or more immersive mobile play, all signs point to a full-scale modernization of PCH’s platform in the coming months.
