Make sure you understand the terms
Writing letters for Sweeps Coins functions similarly across the different sweepstake casino sites. You need to make sure, however, that you follow the instructions for each offer.

This can include different type of ink (blue or black), all caps, where to place the information on the envelope and specific verbiage requirements for the request.
Here are a few things to look for when you write your letter to a sweepstake casino:
Request format
The various sweepstakes casinos ask players to follow virtually the same format.
You’ll need to include a “Request Card” with specific information inside a stamped #10 envelope with particular details. The Request Card can be a piece of white paper or a postcard and must be 4” x 6”, unfolded, and blank (aside from the required information you write on the card).

Your Request Card must include the following information in the top-left corner:

- Your full name, as shown on your government-issued ID
- The email address associated with your account
- The return/residential address associated with your account
- A specific statement provided in the sweepstakes casino’s Sweeps Rules
The “specific statement” outlined in the last bullet point is specific to each site, so be sure to find the exact wording you need to use on the site’s Sweeps Rules page.
For example, Chumba Casino’s statement looks like this:
“I wish to receive Sweeps Coins to participate in the sweepstakes promotions offered by Chumba Casino. By submitting this request, I hereby declare that I have read, understood and agree to be bound by Chumba Casino’s Terms and Conditions and Sweeps Rules.”
All of the sweepstakes casinos listed in this guide allow only one Request Card per envelope. You must follow the exact instructions outlined by a casino’s Sweeps Rules, and your handwriting must be legible.
If any part of the instructions isn’t followed, the casino will void the mail-in request.
Mailing requirements
You must provide the required information outlined in the previous section in the following format:
- All information on the Request Card must be written on one side of the card, beginning with the unique Postal Request code.
- The Request Card must be a blank white piece of paper or a postcard and must be 4” x 6” unfolded.
- You must put the Request Card in a stamped #10 envelope
- You must send the envelope to a specific address. You can find the address in the Sweeps Rules section of the casino website.
- The casinos generally provide different addresses for U.S. and Canadian players, so follow the instructions and send the request to the appropriate address.
Frequency and limitations
Most sweepstakes casinos only allow one request per envelope but don’t limit the number of requests you can send in a given period.
All of the sweepstake casinos promoted in this article use nearly identical language when describing the limitations (or lack thereof) on the number of mail-in requests for Sweeps Coins that you can submit.
For example, the language at Hello Millions reads as follows (bold text added by us for emphasis):
“There is a limit of one (1) Sweepstakes Coins request card per outer envelope. For each request that an Entrant submits, the Entrant will receive four (4) Sweepstakes Coins. Upon receipt of a conforming Request, four (4) Sweepstakes Coins will be added to the Entrant’s Account.”
The language of this paragraph implies that they expect you to send in multiple mail-in requests for SC. Hello Millions makes it clear that you must only submit one request per envelope, but each request will net you 4 Free SC.
A couple of paragraphs later on the Hello Millions Sweepstakes Rules page, you’ll find these two paragraphs (bold text added by us for emphasis):
“Sweepstakes Coins requests must only be made by the Entrant. Requests made by any other individual or any entity will be declared invalid and the Sweepstakes Coins will not be credited to the Entrant’s Account. Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to the use of any device to automate the Sweepstakes Coins request/entry process, is prohibited and any requests/entries deemed by Sponsor, at its sole discretion, to have been submitted in a non-conforming manner will be void. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted a request cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected request/entry will be deemed invalid.
“The number of Sweepstakes Coins an Entrant has will be displayed in their User Account on the Site. The amount of Sweepstakes Coins to be allocated to Entrants can be changed at any time by the Sponsor at its sole discretion.”
Two key points come from these paragraphs:
- Any kind of automation to produce multiple mail-in requests is prohibited.
- Hello Millions can change the amount of Sweepstakes Coins to be allocated to a mail-in Entrant at any time.
In other words, don’t attempt to come up with an automated system to produce mass mail-in entries. Also, while the site’s Sweepstakes Rules don’t explicitly limit the number of mail-in requests you can send, they can limit the amount of SC they allocate to you at any time.
Players that abuse the opportunity provided by mail-in Sweeps Coins offers can expect to get limited at some point.
How to get a postal request code
