More sweepstakes casinos are leaving Indiana ahead of the July 1 sweeps gaming ban, with MyPrize and sites from two large companies among them.

Notable sweepstakes casino operators continue to exit Indiana ahead of July 1, when offering a dual-currency or multiple-currency sweeps casino game will become a civil crime in the state.

The popular site MyPrize.us, sites owned by Utech Solutions LLC (Sweepico, VegasWay, Mr.Goodwin, FireSevens, JackpotRabbit, DexyPlay, Scarlet Sands, Playtana, SweepShark), an sites owned by Blazesoft (Zula Casino, Yay Casino, Sportzino, Fortune Wins, American Luck, and Luck Party) are all either no longer operating in Indiana or at least aren’t offering Sweeps Coin gameplay anymore.

Indiana was the first state to pass a bill banning traditional sweepstakes casinos in the 2026 legislative session. The bill, House Bill 1052, originally saddled operators with a criminal offense, but the penalty was downgraded to a civil offense with a fine of $100,000 during the committee review process.

Full exits? Or will players still have Gold Coin options?

The Blazesoft sites have fully departed Indiana, adding the state to its list of excluded states alongside Idaho, Michigan, New York, Montana, Louisiana, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Tennessee, California, Illinois, Maine, Nevada, and Washington.

Players at Utech Solutions sites, on the other hand, will still be able to play games in Gold Coin mode. As of today, California and Indiana are the two Gold Coin-only states for Utech. Gold Coins are not redeemable and are identical to the types of digital currency used by social casinos, which are not facing any legal scrutiny of note right now and are in fact some of the stakeholders most vehemently opposing sweeps casinos.

Sweeps Coins are the problematic currency for sweeps casinos, as they are redeemable, leading regulators and lawmakers in various markets across the country to determine playing with Sweeps Coins is too similar to gambling with real money.

MyPrize.us is also fully unavailable in Indiana, as the site added the jurisdiction to its excluded list a couple of weeks ago and Indiana players recently began reporting lost access in online forums.

Hacksaw Gaming is out of Indiana, too

Indiana players in online forums have also recently reported loss of access to games from Hacksaw Gaming. Some of the provider’s most popular games include Le Bandit, Chaos Crew, Wanted Dead or a Wild, and Pickle Bandits.

Hacksaw Gaming is one of the most popular games providers in both sweeps and real-money online casinos. It is among the most responsive games providers to action taken against the sweeps industry by state legislatures or regulators or Attorney General’s offices, leaving markets even when other providers remain.

Here’s what its CEO, Christoffer Källberg, had to say about leaving California during an earnings call in November 2025, a couple months before Sweeps Coin gameplay in California was set to go offline due to Assembly Bill 831.

“In line with our principles,” Källberg said, “by the end of the year, we will no longer provide our games to sweepstakes operators in California. Revenues generated via sweepstakes operators remain a small part of our total revenue.”

Also, last August, Hacksaw Gaming was included in a lawsuit filed by the City Attorney of Los Angeles against the owner of Stake.us and various game vendors.

Other recent movement in Indiana, Maine

Some of the other operators to recently close up shop in Indiana include Ruby Sweeps, Modo.us, McLuck, Hello Millions, Jackpota, Mega Bonanza, PlayFame, SpinBlitz, Baba Casino, ACE Casino, Pulsz Casino, Pulsz Bingo, Funzpoints, Cider Casino, Lucky Bunny Casino, and Lavish Luck.

Many of these sites are also leaving Maine at the same time. Maine followed Indiana as the second state to pass a bill — Legislative Document 2007 — banning Sweeps Coin gameplay at sweeps casinos in the 2026 legislative session. Maine’s law takes effect in mid-July, while Indiana’s does on July 1.

MyPrize.us and the Blazesoft sites have also left Maine in addition to Indiana, for instance. The Utech sites, however, haven’t yet added Maine to their excluded markets.

Interestingly, several major sweepstakes casino operators are also exiting Iowa even though the state has not passed a law banning sweepstakes casinos. Instead, Iowa’s new law, effective July 1, simply allows the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission to issue cease-and-desist orders to sweeps casinos.

High 5 Casino, Baba Casino, Lucky Bunny Casino, and Sidepot Casino have all announced or begun Iowa shutdowns. The departures suggest these operators are either acting out of an abundance of caution or responding to behind-the-scenes regulatory pressure before any public enforcement action has occurred.
