Big Bux is a traditional mystery box site and doesn’t offer daily login rewards for new players. There’s no way to get free items outside the no deposit offer, so you’ll have to spend a little money to use the site. 

You can participate in battles to win more items after you’ve bought some boxes or refer friends to earn a permanent, 5% commission on their deposits. I’m explaining more here:

• Battles: Take part in daily battles at BigBux and face off against other players. Like Royale.gg, BigBux also lets you create your own battles or compete against a robot. When “Crazy” mode is enabled, the player or bot who pulls the lowest total item value wins the match. “Terminal” mode gives the battle to whichever player pulls the highest single-value item. If both modes are activated, the player with the least expensive single item wins the match. Normal battles come with five rounds, while “Crazy” battles have seven. During each round, the wheel spins until it lands on a box. The contents of that box are displayed in your column under your username. At the end of each battle, total item values are calculated, and the winner/loser is determined based on the ruleset.
• Refer-a-friend: The referral bonus at BigBux offers a 5% commission on your friends’ deposits, but you must complete a form explaining why you deserve an opportunity to invite other players. This feels tacky to me, but I went ahead and did it anyway. I got a reply 24 hours later, after which point I could refer friends to the platform. There’s no limit on how many friends you can invite, so this bonus could be lucrative if you know lots of people who plan to stick around.

BigBux VIP Club: it doesn’t offer specific loyalty benefits yet 

BigBux does have a loyalty program of sorts, but the benefits aren’t clearly outlined. At most, you can expect free boxes and exclusive deals based on your current level. The FAQ says they’re working to improve the VIP program, so only time will tell what happens.

BigBux’s loyalty program has potential, but it’s outclassed by the existing benefits available at Royale.gg and Mr. Loot. This is largely because the benefits at BigBux aren’t specified beyond free boxes and exclusive deals, whereas Royale.gg promises concrete cashback percentages. Mr. Loot’s VIP program takes the cake as far as transparency is concerned, because you know exactly what you have to spend to progress to each level. You’ll claim level-up rewards, weekly bonuses, monthly bonuses, and spins on the Wheel at higher VIP tiers. By comparison, until BigBux fleshes out its loyalty program to represent something tangible, it’s clear that competing sites promise more value for your money.

In this section, I’ve summarized the most important terms and conditions related to signing up, making purchases, and claiming bonuses with BigBux: 

• You must be 18+ years old or the age of majority in your state  to register with BigBux. The platform is legal to use in all 50 states, but Washington residents may not be eligible for certain services. 
• When you sign up, you’ll get to open 3 free mystery boxes that may include high-ticket items like a PS5 or Nintendo Switch, gaming accessories, or low-grade vouchers worth $0.10 to $5.00. 
• No promo code is required to claim a 20% bonus on your initial deposit of $10 up to $100. However, sales tax and a 2% deposit processing fee will factor into how much you earn. 
• You’ll need to fill out a form before you can claim referral bonuses. A team member will get back to you within 24 hours to approve or deny your request. If you want to take your chances at winning a Porsche, the “Crying on My Porsche” mystery box contains only two items: a box of Kleenex or a new Porsche 911 Targa 4s worth $204,000. Of course, you’ll have a mere 0.001% probability of pocketing the car, but the box only costs $100.

I personally had better luck exploring the “Deals” section, where you can win items directly. You choose the item and set your probability of winning between 0.01% and 80%. If the ticker lands in the highlighted portion, you win the item. 

I took a swing at a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and, unbelievably, I won a $329 item after spending $3.95. I then bought a lottery ticket to celebrate my luck, but that didn’t go as planned.

The most daring buyers on the site can try their luck at owning a supercar, but even taking a 50/50 stab at a Porsche or Lamborghini will set you back $300,000. Still, I like that BigBux has plenty of everyday items, jewelry, and tech accessories for those of us with lower aspirations.

Banking: How to make purchases or exchange items for prizes

You can use your debit/credit card, Apple Pay, GPay, any of 745+ compatible cryptocurrency wallets, or manual crypto transfers via USDT, USDC, and ETH to fund your BigBux account. 

All deposits are subject to a 2% processing fee, and if you deposit/withdraw through crypto, network fees also apply. 

Whenever you win items from Mystery Boxes or Deals, you can request to have them shipped to your house, exchange them for other items on the site, or cash them out. Shipping takes up to 60 days, but cash and crypto withdrawals are delivered in 24 hours or less.

Even though BigBux doesn’t have a proper app, the web app is an effective substitute. I couldn’t find a way to remove the circular arrows at the bottom-right corner of the page, which is my only complaint about the UI. 

A bottom-row menu would also be nice, but you can access the most important site functions (boxes, battles, promotions, et cetera) through the main menu just like you would on desktop.

I loved being able to switch between dark and light modes by tapping the moon icon next to my balance, and the “Live Wins” banner at the top of the page provides transparency. You can watch players get everything from expensive electronics to streetwear and jewelry in real-time.

BigBux offers email and ticket support, but there’s no live chat or phone assistance available. I was able to speak to a real person immediately at both Mr. Loot and Royale.gg, so BigBux falls behind the curve in this area. Below, I’ll discuss what you can expect when trying to get in touch: 

• Email: Send an email to [email protected] and include your username in the message to save time. I got responses in 36 to 48 hours, on average. The team was helpful when I asked about specific T&C’s, withdrawal requirements, and how battles actually work. 
• Ticket: Scroll down to the website footer and click “Contact Us” to open the ticket form. After entering your name, email address, phone number, and message, click “Submit” and wait for a response. I noticed replies took closer to 24 hours using this method. 
• FAQ: BigBux’ FAQ contains some grammatical errors and misspellings, but it’s generally helpful if you want to learn more about the site’s refund policy, shipping times, XP reward system, and how to make payments without contacting a team member.

Even the three free boxes you get for signing up could contain a Nintendo Switch or PS5 valued at $750, whereas its closest competitor (Royale.gg) reserves its largest no deposit prize to $60. 

I also like that you can hunt for direct item deals by spinning the Wheel, since I haven’t seen this option on most sites other than HypeDrop. There’s definitely more to do here than you’d expect at first glance, and PvP/PvBot battles add the icing on the cake. 

Subpar customer support, unclear VIP benefits, and processing fees are the biggest factors that got in the way of an otherwise fantastic experience here, which is why I’ve ranked it a little lower than Royale.gg and HypeDrop.
